Digital payments and software services vendor Cantaloupe has partnered with data science company HIVERY with the aim of streamlining category management in the retail market.

The deal will see HIVERY’s user-friendly AI technology-based solution Enhance become available to customers using Cantaloupe Seed through an integration with the Seed platform, namely Seed Pro and Seed Office.

Cantaloupe offers solutions for the self-service retail market, from payments and processing to warehouse management. The company says their products are designed to increase customer engagement and give retailers visibility and control over their operations.

The new integration will offer customers using Seed the benefits such as seamless data sharing between Seed and HIVERY Enhance, automatic and enhanced machine merchandising decisions from connecting AI/ML to operations sales data, increased revenue from prescribing a more desirable product selection based on your consumer behavior, dynamic tools to merchandise machines at scale, and a reduction in restocking trips.
