HCLTech has announced a significant expansion to its long-term partnership with Google Cloud.
The updated collaboration will introduce new capabilities and service offerings, designed to accelerate enterprise cloud migration.
In 2019, HCLTech formed its dedicated “Google Cloud Ecosystem Unit” (GCEU), in partnership with Google, to expedite enterprise cloud adoption by assisting customers in planning and executing their migrations.
Today, the two companies are building on this platform to scale HCLTech’s ability to support and guide digital transformation strategies.
Also, the move will further enhance HCLTech’s capacity to deliver critical migration solutions, professional services, and legacy system modernization plans to enterprise brands.
Finally, the partnership will introduce two new offerings to assist enterprise customers in their transition to Google Cloud.
New Offerings
The first solution is the “Google Cloud Migration and Modernisation Factory” included within the HCLTech (GCEU). This offering combines unique IP, experts, migration frameworks, and tools for automation to assist companies in pushing critical workloads into Google Cloud at speed.
Also, users may enhance the security posture of their enterprises, ensuring compliance with ever-changing regulations.
At the same time, a new HCLTech Cloud Acceleration team is on-hand to accelerate customer time-to-value with all Google Cloud solutions and products. They will do so via architectural guidance, expertise, and insights unlocked from enterprise data.
HCLTech will also train up to 18,000 technology and consulting experts on the Google Cloud platform, ensuring they have the expertise required to optimize global digital transformations.

The upgraded (GCEU) will allow HCLTech to deliver advanced domain-led service solutions, harnessing the CloudSMART portfolio of industry-focused tools for Google.
HCLTech will also take a Google Cloud-first approach to data, analytics, and artificial intelligence strategies across key industry segments, such as retail, consumer packaged goods, life sciences, healthcare, and financial services.
The vendor has already enjoyed many successes with these strategies, as highlighted by its “challenger” status in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data and Analytics Service Providers 2022.
