provider of global enterprise cloud communications, collaboration, video meetings, and contact centre solutions has announced it has secured the prestigious National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Essentials Plus certification for the UK. The certification falls under the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials scheme and was achieved by RingCentral following a meticulous external audit process that was achieved by the Manchester based NCC Group.

The certification, called Cyber Essentials Plus, aims to demonstrate robust practice across operational processes and resilient cyber defences in Britain. The certification is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to compliance, trust and security.

It also further highlights the company’s commitment as a key supplier of services to the public sector. RingCentral undergoes frequent and proactive testing, assessments, and third-party security audits in addition and throughout the year to give their customers assurance and to help build upon its core pillars including security, trust, privacy, transparency, and reliability.

Steve Rafferty, Country Manager, United Kingdom & Ireland at RingCentral, said: “Trust is the currency of business communications. We are committed to ensuring that our customers can rely on the highest standards of security, compliance, and privacy.

“Our focus on adding the Cyber Essentials Plus certification is part of that commitment and assures our existing and future customers across the public and private sector that we’re focused on embracing the very highest standards.”
