RS Components, a global omni-channel solutions partner for industrial customers and suppliers, had announced today that Orange Business Services has been selected as RS’ single end-to-end managed services provider. Orange will be responsible for carrying out a major transformation of RS’ entire global infrastructure.

Orange will also assist in digitising RS’ sales processes and moving its contact centre activities to the cloud. OBS had helped its customers’ future-proof workspace, enhance customer experience and allow the company to run its business remotely in thirty-two countries, at the same time reducing costs to keep up with the competitors such as Amazon.

These digital transformation projects also include SD-WAN and telephony upgrades to future proof RS’ business. The fully integrated ecosystem encompasses connectivity, cybersecurity, collaboration and customer experience within a single managed platform. This allows RS to run its business online remotely, create new services and maintain its position in a highly competitive marketplace.

The solution enhances business agility, meets PCI DSS regulatory compliance mandates and simplifies RS’ business processes. On top of that, it ensures that customers and partners have a consistent experience through multiple channels of engagement.

Orange Business Service will provide RS with a fully integrated cloud-based collaboration and contact centre platform to ensure seamless communication between front and back-office business functions. By selecting OBS including Flexible SD-WAN, LAN, security, conferencing, video, voice and contact centre services and support.
