Landis Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, specialising in Unified Communications, recently announced a new service. The Policy Call Recording solution for Microsoft Teams is the first component of the Microsoft Teams contact centre offering in the Landis Technology pipeline. This feature will now be released to general availability for all customers.
According to CEO, Matt Landis, his company has been waiting for Microsoft Teams communication APIs to become generally available. Now that the Microsoft Graph recording API has gone GA, Landis can begin releasing new features for its customers. Matt noted that they have delivered secure call recording solutions to many Skype for Business customers. Now, the team is eager to bring the same functionality to Microsoft Teams.
Call Recording for Microsoft Teams
The policy call recording feature from Microsoft Teams come from the Landis Contact Centre Teams app. This is already available for anyone using Microsoft Teams. Call recording functionality is available for organisations who also might not want to use other contact centre tools.
Wendell Martin, Global Sales Manager for Landis Technologies, noted that the call recording service is available on the cloud. This means that companies can instantly get started with policy-based recordings within a matter of minutes. This separates Landis from other competitors in the market. The solution is also “Teams First” and built exclusively for Microsoft Teams. It feels as natural as using Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
Landis Policy call recording will allow managers on Microsoft Teams to easily establish policies for recording user calls. Managers will also be able to set permissions so that only proper users can access recordings and record calls. This is true whether you’re making calls on Teams IP desk phones, PC softphones, or mobile devices.
Landis Technologies is focusing on bringing new solutions to the market that will enhance customer experience and convenience for Microsoft Teams users. The Policy recording service is now available, with GA versions rolling out soon.
