IT automation and service orchestration firm Resolve Systems has announced the acquisition of Ayehu, a provider of a no-code intelligent IT automation platform.

Resolve said the rationale behind the purchase was to build a holistic solution that covered all areas of IT automation in the face of increased pressures on digital services.

“As we’ve watched the IT automation market evolve, we’ve seen two distinct needs emerge. There are those organisations that need to prioritise a fast time to value with out-of-the-box functionality, and those that need more powerful orchestration and integration capabilities to automate very complex, custom, and unique processes,” said Vijay Kurkal, Resolve CEO. “With the acquisition of Ayehu, Resolve can now serve the full spectrum of IT automation needs under one umbrella.”

Hyperautomation in the IT Space

Ayehu’s offering is to be integrated into the Resolve Actions “hyperautomation” line of products, providing IT teams with quickly deployable automation solutions. According to the company, among the benefits of the platform experienced by customers are reducing service desk ticket volume and cutting IT operation costs.

“Ayehu’s vision is to democratise enterprise IT automation and to accelerate adoption by making it easy to use and operate, allowing enterprise IT teams to rapidly achieve value,” said Gabby Nizri, co-founder and CEO of Ayehu. “By joining Resolve, with its backing by Insight Partners, we can now turbocharge our innovation and journey toward making automation available for everyone via SaaS.”

Resolve further said it would continue to invest in Ayehu’s product to increase its intelligence and functionality as part of its Actions product family.

“Since its founding, Ayehu has dedicated itself to the mission of automating the many tedious, repetitive tasks associated with IT operations,” said Ron Sege, Partner at Benhamou Global Ventures and Chairman of Ayehu. “We are extremely pleased that this powerful combination with Resolve will preserve this mission and, in fact, expand on it.”

No financial terms of the deal were revealed, but Resolve CEO Vijay Kurkal will lead the combine company, with Ayehu co-founder Gabby Nizri serving as Chief Strategy Officer.
