Google Cloud has announced new additions to its Business Messages Partner ecosystem which will include Twilio, Genesys, and Avaya.

Google’s Business Messages allow customers to initiate one-to-one conversations with brands directly from Google search results.

Commenting on the latest additions, Bart Jenniches, Director of Business Communications Partnerships at Google Cloud, wrote in a blog post:

“Our partners specialize in solutions for a number of verticals like retail, banking, automotive, telco, and many more. They also work with businesses to implement both AI Bot and Live Agent chat solutions to help ensure businesses stay open for conversations to engage with customers and advance those conversations through the purchase funnel when they need help.”

“With hundreds of partners using the service weekly, we’re excited to further develop our partner community so we can provide the best possible experiences for everyone out there while working hand in hand with those companies that make it possible.”

Twilio previewed support for Google’s Business Messages within the Conversations API at its flagship event SIGNAL 2021 in early May. The new integration also allows businesses to access first-party data to gain insights into how customers communicate.

In 2020, Google enabled Business Messages to be used via Google Maps and Search to support a wider range of businesses. Business Messages is currently available in more than 70 languages to accommodate millions of businesses around the world.

Google Cloud has also recently launched a new model for its Speech-to-Text API to help improve accuracy.
