Infobip has acquired a VoIP provider Peerless Network to strengthen its global voice offering.

The deal will see Infobip clients venture into the US market, as its voice network now covers 49 states.

Infobip will also provide Peerless Network’s clients with access to its CPaaS platform, enabling them to harness omnichannel capabilities and connect with customers globally.

Silvio Kutić, CEO of Infobip, said: “America is home to many world-leading platform businesses and enterprises, so cementing Infobip’s presence in the U.S. with this deal is a significant milestone,”.

“It confirms our global growth strategy to better help businesses reach their customers on the right channel at the right time to boost reliability and drive sales.

“Moreover, combining Peerless Network’s leading voice offering with Infobip’s global messaging capabilities prepares us for leadership in the rapidly developing market for cloud communications.

“With a strengthened voice proposition and a global presence, we help companies make more meaningful customer connections worldwide.”

Established in 2008, Peerless Network offers an array of agile voice services, including UCaaS, SIP trunking, messaging, and Microsoft Teams integrations.

Peerless Network’s customer base spans Fortune 500 companies, global mobile network operators, and mobile virtual network operators to name a few.

John Barnicle, CEO of Peerless Network, said: “Combined with our leading voice network, we now offer a one-stop shop for omnichannel communications.

“Together, our firms offer a network of local teams serving businesses around the world where customers benefit from the most comprehensive suite of SaaS-enabled CPaaS software available today.”

The two companies will process more than 30 billion customer interactions on a monthly basis, in more than 190 countries.

In efforts to expand its customer base even more, Infobip has recently integrated its WhatsApp and SMS channels into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, shortly after it had made its solutions available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
