Marketing automation platform Act-On Software has announced new native integration with the Zendesk Sell CRM. 

Zendesk Sell users will be able to access Act-On’s technology from within the CRM, building on Act-On’s existing integrations with the other major CRMs. 

“We are honoured to collaborate with Zendesk and offer marketing automation for their sales users to fully leverage,” said Kate Johnson, CEO of Act-On Software.

“We’re excited for Zendesk users to gain access to our multichannel marketing solution that turns behavioural insights into optimal sales opportunities. The seamless integration, combined with Zendesk’s robust customer engagement tools, will strengthen users’ ability to generate better leads and facilitate more efficient conversions resulting in an enhanced customer experience.” 

The integration will allow behavioural data, templates and automated SMS and email outreach tools from Act-On to be leveraged within the CRM in the pursuit of leads. Features include data analysis, message personalisation and sales cycle acceleration. 

“This integration with Act-On allows Zendesk customers to invigorate their marketing capabilities with automation to accelerate engagement and win more opportunities,” said Zendesk’s Director of Product, Antek Piechnik 

“It bridges the best of marketing and sales software to enable Zendesk Sell users to gain deep visibility of a buyer’s journey, activities, scores and behaviours prior to and during every stage of the sales cycle.” 

Act-On Software earlier this year announced $20mn in growth funding as well as the launch of SMS automated marketing. Zendesk, meanwhile, recently acquired automation startup Cleverly.ai, with the company planning to integrate the knowledge management platform with its existing products.
