Pipedrive has announced the opening of a new private cloud environment in the UK, developed in partnership with Rackspace Technology.

The private cloud environment will allow Pipedrive – the CRM and intelligent revenue management platform – to reach its European customers outside of the EU, alongside those in the UK.

The proximity to Europe will reduce Pipedrive’s response times and meet new security, compliance and data sovereignty requirements.

Commenting on the announcement, Agur Jõgi, CTO, Pipedrive, says:

Pipedrive has grown dramatically from a 2010 start-up to a company with nearly 100,000 users in more than 150 countries worldwide. We significantly benefit from the innovation Rackspace Technology offers customers and as our managed cloud provider they help us to scale to match our rapidly growing customer base.

Alongside the new cloud and data centre opening, Pipedrive will strengthen its managed Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment to launch additional application regions through the AWS platform.

The New York-headquartered company adds the UK data centre as its fourth cloud region to meet the needs of regional customers. The new UK data centre will reduce the risk of connectivity issues and congestion across the globe by dividing operations into multiple regions.

Andy Brierley, UK General Manager at Rackspace Technology, adds:

Pipedrive relies on state-of-the-art technologies for maximum security and availability which our robust and innovative cloud capabilities afford. As Pipedrive continues to grow, it will be supported by our flexible approach and team of experts to enable the best outcomes for its customers.

Recently, Pipedrive also launched a Smart Docs add-on to help customers streamline and automate the documentation processes. To uncover more, check out our coverage of the announcement.
