CRM and intelligent revenue management platform Pipedrive announced the general availability of Smart Docs add-on, a tool that helps customers streamline and automate the entire documentation process.
Smart Docs enables teams to create, send, manage, and sign sales-related documents and contracts. The tool was first introduced as a beta feature in late 2020 and has now become “one of the fastest-growing feature sets”, as said by the company.

As it gives access to documents to managers and sales reps, the functionality also reduces the cost of document-specific software.”
The tool integrates with Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, and offers a host of features for managing the entire documentation process. Some of the features include auto-fill with Pipedrive data, document and template-sharing with the team, document-tracking in real-time, electronic signature, PDF format support, and Google Sheets and Google Slides support.
Customers that wish to utilise the full feature set of Smart Docs with an unlimited number of eSignatures can do so by choosing Pipedrive’s Professional or Enterprise plans. Customers can also include Smart Docs as a separate add-on (with 30 or 100 signatures) in Essential and Advanced plans.
Pipedrive plans to integrate Smart Docs with DocuSign to meet the needs of larger enterprises to complete the paperless document management processes.
