The market traction and momentum experienced by Crawley-based company Akixi seems to have no signs of slowing down according to information revealed by MD Bart Delgado who recently shared insights into the company’s comprehensive growth and product development plans set to take place during 2017. Delgado revealed his product roadmap against a backdrop of strengthening presence overseas, in the Caribbean, USA, and Europe. So far, the company has accumulated around 2,000 active client sites across the globe
The upward trajectory of Akixi can also be seen in its new partnership with Gamma – a collaboration that has allowed Akixi to start interacting with more than 500 different Horizon reseller sites. Another positive sigh had been the partnership with “Dubber”, which has allowed the business to achieve strong results following the launch of a new plug-in feature for call recording that is cloud-based and scalable.
Building on the Success of 2016
This year, Akixi will be building upon the successes it experienced during 2016, with the roll out of a host of new features, including a web services API solution, which is sure to be a must-have service for customers who want to get more control over their solutions, and programme how administrative tasks are maintained within the Akixi reporting service. The new feature is set to reduce the amount of time that customers will need to spend performing standard tasks like provisioning partitions, telephony services, devices, and ACD agents. According to Delgado, these solutions were previously only accessible through the administrative area of the Akixi app.
Some of the other developments worth looking out for during the course of this year will include the launch of a brand-new user-interface, a new smartphone application for Apple and Android devices, and an increase in data storage solutions that last for up to twelve months – much better than the current 3-month guarantee.
New Developments
The company is also working on improved group reporting solutions that can combine outbound and inbound traffic per group, along with a host of additional features for the group list hunt feature, that display calls to and from all group members, while calculating call statistics. This feature will also be available in large multi-site deployments.
In the same theme of reporting, Akixi is also gearing up to introduce new reports that should be grouped by both department, and GroupID, to help make finding and storing information simpler on BroadSoft BroadWorks platforms. The idea is that this new feature will help to offer additional information to customers using their Akixi reports, and ensure that users can easily sort, manage, and filter extensions.
