What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

The General Availability of our next generation of Enlighten Copilot for Agent and Supervisor has been the highlight so far of 2024. This is building on what we launched last year with Enlighten Copilot, Enlighten Autopilot and Enlighten Actions. NICE has delivered AI-driven augmentation to the entire CX workforce. This is a testament to the fast pace of our innovation at NICE. I’m very proud we have been able to deliver to this huge market need. It’s very special to be involved with this transformative technology – upskilling an entire workforce with CX AI.

Who is your business hero and why?

I don’t have a single business hero, instead rather, I admire the unique traits of a handful of leaders. For example, I admire Elon Musk’s bravery. He thinks big and isn’t nervous about challenging the status quo. I also greatly admire NICE’s CEO Barak Eilam. He’s taught me the importance of leading a business, rather than running a business. A few years ago, I also had the opportunity to interview George W. Bush. For this interview, I read his book ‘Decision Points.’ Politics aside, I discovered that his methodology for decision-making aligned with mine. He surrounds himself with smart people with different experiences and talents, and carefully considers all viewpoints to make informed decisions he otherwise might not have made himself.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

I’ve made tons of mistakes, I’m human. A board member once told me that if you make the big decisions right 51% of the time, you’re doing better than most leaders. I’m very big on having a growth mindset, meaning I look at mistakes as a gold mine of opportunity. Mistakes are as valuable as success. The key is to quickly course correct and learn from a mistake, and not make it again.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

Carole S. Dweck’s novel, “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success,” taught me the power of the growth mindset. The book illustrates the difference between having a growth mindset versus a fixed mindset. Tackling every day with a growth mindset has empowered me to easily adapt to change, seek and learn from feedback and thrive in dynamic environments. As a leader this book has been invaluable.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

In recent years, NICE has experienced massive growth and 2024 is no different. The biggest challenge is finding ways to stay nimble and move fast while we continue to scale. As the company grows larger, it’s vital that we maintain our fast-paced innovation.
