As businesses and enterprises across the world continue to deploy Microsoft Skype for Business solutions as their service for versatile communication, Enghouse Interactive have begun to address the need for native call handling services that assist with streamlining workflow. A recent video published by the company has been created to help customers visualise the necessity for a more comprehensive offering, as well as drawing attention to the potential benefits of the new TouchPoint Attendant service for Microsoft Skype Business solutions. The TouchPoint attendant will be an operator and attendant console solution that is native to the Skype for Business Cloud PBX, and available for access directly from Office 365.

The new system doesn’t need any on-premise equipment to work and the highly-interactive and graphical interface helps to bring a more gamified approach to increasing operator and attendant productivity in the workplace. Both functions and menus are state-dependent and devoid of any excess desktop clutter – perfect for productivity. Calls can travel dynamically and change colour according to a contact’s position in the queue, and their age, and users also have the option to search through directories coupled with a Skype for Business presence.
