Revenue operations and intelligence platform People.ai has announced a newly streamlined CRM interface.

People.ai’s solutions are based around increasing sales rep productivity and allowing sales teams to access AI-powered insights into team performance – as with the People.ai coaching console, an AI-driven tool to consolidate team performance and make sales recommendations. Its customers include the likes of AppDynamics, DataRobot, Ivanti, Okta and Zoom.

The new PeopleGlass+ offering is a spreadsheet-like app that helps teams more simply and flexibly update CRM data. It includes customisation and data management features.

The company said the offering was a response to the large volumes of data sales reps are needing to manage, citing data that sales reps can need to manually update up to 300 CRM records per week.

“PeopleGlass+ is one of the first tools to simultaneously satisfy sales reps and revenue operations teams. Reps get the flexibility and speed to manage their business via the spreadsheet interface they love, while sales operations teams get great data and widespread adoption of CRM, dramatically improving forecast accuracy and not compromising on sales productivity,” said People.ai Founder and CEO Oleg Rogynskyy

The product is accessible via web or Chrome extension, and is based on the previously released free PeopleGlass.

“Going forward, PeopleGlass+ will be an increasingly critical tool in the revenue ops tool chest of large enterprises, freeing up precious time for selling while promoting widespread collaboration and increasing data accuracy for better insights and more efficient operations,” said Oleg Rogynskyy.

The news comes off the back of last month’s $100mn Series D round, which led to People.ai breaching the $1bn technology unicorn threshold. The company said it would use the funds to support continued growth and expansion into new industries.

“Our AI technology harnesses business activity like email, calendar, and video conferencing data, allowing sales managers to become data-driven coaches, and reps to spend more time on the right sales pursuits,” said Oleg Rogynskyy. “This new funding will ensure that People.ai continues to lead the industry with the world’s best account and opportunity management functionality.”
