CRM marketing automation company ResponseCRM has announced an integration with open-source WordPress e-commerce plugin WooCommerce.

Aside from its CRM functions, ResponseCRM also provides ecommerce solutions. The new integration allows businesses using WooCommerce within their sites to integrate ResponseCRM features such as transaction-based payment processing.

“Many online businesses choose WooCommerce for their websites because it’s an easy-to-use, customisable, open source e-Commerce platform built on WordPress,” said Behzad Sharifi, Co-Principal/Operations Director, ResponseCRM. “ResponseCRM has added a WooCommerce plug-in to our many powerful integrations, which now enables businesses that use WooCommerce to take advantage of a wide range of payment gateways and our flexible, affordable payment model based on just 6 cents a transaction, instead of having to pay ongoing hefty monthly fees and commit to contracts.”

The development also provides WooCommerce users with access to ResponseCRM’s merchant processors and payment gateways.

“We’re excited about this opportunity to make it easy for people to start or expand an online store and do this without all of the traditional costs in using other eCommerce Solutions,” said Sharifi.

Earlier this year, the company implemented a range of product enhancements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on consumer shopping habits.

“We focused all of our product development efforts in 2020 on providing an exceptional experience for online sellers to meet this demand,” said Darren Lunt, ResponseCRM managing partner. “We implemented 20 new integrations with popular apps, created a new user-friendly interface with innovative features and powerful dashboards, and released other enhancements to our ResponseCRM solution.”

Offered on a free basis, the company operates on a pay what you use basis. “Many people tell us that our pricing model has made it possible for them to start a business with a very low overhead,” said Lunt. “So, when they requested integrations with popular apps — such as PayPal Payments Pro, Drip, 3PL, Boost, FlexPay, and others — we made that happen.”
