Digital grocery solutions provider Stor.ai has revealed a new data analytics product suite that makes it easier for grocers and CPG’s to acquire ecommerce data.

The suite offers retailers anonymised data from campaigns and promotions which they can use to improve their online value proposition.

Orlee Tal, CEO, stor.ai, said: “In an era characterized by rapidly changing consumer preferences and habits, it’s increasingly vital for the grocery industry to understand how customers respond to promotional campaigns.”

“Stor.ai’s latest innovative offering provides a win-win outcome for both retailers and CPGs alike: retailers can harness the vast amounts of data at their disposal to provide useful insights for CPGs, while CPGs themselves can analyze the tangible value derived from promotional activities. These new capabilities will prove game-changing in accelerating and facilitating the shift towards customer-first online commerce in the grocery industry.”

CPG’s can employ stor.ai’s data analytics product suite to gain in-depth insights, assess the impact of their online promotions and better understand consumer preferences.

The company claims the suite can identify bottlenecks between retailers and CPG’s and help them withdraw promotions for out-of-stock products, using automated real-time communication.

According to Stor.ai, the new product fits into their holistic ecommerce, picking and fulfillment offering aimed at grocers looking to maintain in customer loyalty and keep up with the current digital trends.

Earlier this year, Tel-aviv based company had closed a $21M extended Series A funding round that fueled its growth and expansion in North America.
