Telephone services provider PromptVoice has launched a new product allowing end users self-service access to a range of interactive voice response (IVR) audio.

Comprehensive IVR Portal

PromptVoice Portal lets users choose from free music playlists, over 10,000 marketing message templates and professional voice recordings. The portal also allows users to record bespoke messages, with access to both professional voice artists and text-to-speech characters.

Anthony Buxton, PromptVoice CEO, said: “PromptVoice Portal is the perfect Channel solution to complement existing voice services. The straightforward integration and onboarding processes, combined with the intuitive self-serve approach and Freemium pricing model, means the service requires minimal interaction from resellers to generate healthy recurring margins.

“We’re really excited to work with our Channel partners to help them secure new revenue streams and deliver better solutions for their customers.”

The company emphasised the ways in which the offering allows businesses to optimise every call and turn in-queue and on-hold audio into a communication tool rather than an afterthought.

PromptVoice Portal also allows the scheduling of playlists for specific times and dates for seasonal or campaign-related messages.

The news comes after last month’s partnership with VanillaIP to offer a ProMusic solution allowing businesses to manage callers’ on-hold experiences, for instance by promoting product upsells.

Anthony Buxton said: “ProMusic, powered by PromptVoice, is a new concept for the telecoms channel and brings exciting and powerful new features to an area of the telephony caller experience that has changed little in 20 years. With ProMusic, all VanillaIP services can sound as good as they work!”
