CRM platform HubSpot has announced that it is expanding its global reach in Canada, with offices in Toronto.

HubSpot recognised Canada’s accelerated growth in the technology sector as an opportunity for expansion in the market which has over 43,000 companies. The company plans to cater to local businesses to leverage its CRM platform for business growth.

HubSpot VP of Mid-Market Sales, Ryan Beale said:

“Business leaders recognize the critical role that technology plays in enabling customers to grow better. Expanding into Canada will help HubSpot support our Canadian customers, partners, and prospects as HubSpot will now have access to incredible Canadian talent through our hybrid work model.”

“I’m thrilled that HubSpot is making this investment in Canada and am bullish on our ability to support sustainable customer and partner growth over the long term.”

Beale will be leading the expansion in the Canadian market, along with HubSpot’s new Director of Sales, Canada, Saher Ghattas, who recently led sales for one of HubSpot’s Diamond partners.

“Canadian businesses deserve a simplified CRM platform that empowers them to grow better. This is the time for Canadian leaders to think differently about their digital transformation journey, and HubSpot is primed to help them reach their growth goals. I am honored and excited to be part of HubSpot’s momentum in this market,” said Ghattas.

HubSpot will be hiring people in the region, offering flexible work options.

The announcement follows HubSpot’s recent investment in cloud-based contact centre solution vendor Aircall to accelerate the development of its voice and phone communications ecosystem.
