Conversational automation vendor Uniphore has closed its $400 million Series E funding round led by NEA, raising its total valuation to $2.5 billion.
Uniphore plans to invest its largest to date funds into developing its conversational AI offerings’ voice, computer vision, and tonal emotion capabilities. The company is also looking to expand its business operations in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.

Other key milestones in 2021 for Uniphore include the acquisitions of Emotion Research Lab and Jacada. Meanwhile, the AI provider also scooped a 2021 Frost & Sullivan Global Technology Innovation Leadership Awards win, alongside a place on the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 liss.
