Zoho has introduced a new enterprise project management platform: Zoho Projects Plus.
The platform aims to provide data- and intelligence-driven project management for mid-sized and large organizations.
In doing so, it acts as the operational center point for running projects, with integrations to four key Zoho applications: Projects, WorkDrive, Analytics, and Sprints.
Think of it as the spider’s head, informing workflows that run across these apps while ensuring asynchronous collaboration, “seamless” file management, and real-time business intelligence.
Projects Plus also offers data democratization, AI, hybrid project management, and collaborative work management features.
Speaking on the release on the platform, Evelyn McMullen, Research Manager at Nucleus Research, explained that the move underscores Zoho’s “continued commitment“ to meeting customers where they are.
Noting the impact on large enterprises, McMullen said: “The platform is designed to meet the specific needs of organizations in complex verticals, such as e-commerce, construction, manufacturing, and automotive.“
Overall, this move supports Zoho’s upmarket trajectory while offering different levels of functionality to support its broad client base.
The solution is now available at $16 per user per month in the US, with prices ranging across regions.
Zoho Surges Upmarket
As McMullen suggested, the launch of Projects Plus will support Zoho’s upmarket charge, which is gaining momentum.
Martin Schneider, VP & Principal Analyst at Constellation Research, referenced this in a recent conversation with CX Today.
“They’re already talking about multi-million seat deployments globally,” he said.
“What you’re really seeing is them breaking down the total cost of ownership (TCO) in a way that really drives value to the end users in interesting ways.
At the same time, they’re building out both deliverability, reliability, and scalability, as well as the breadth of applications, to really become as close to enterprise-ready as any one vendor could be.
“I don’t think there’s really anybody with the breadth and scope—being both wide and deep.”
As a result, Zoho is landing in parts of the enterprise and expanding with a vast network of complementary solutions.
The Projects Plus platform will serve this expansion further.
More on the Projects Plus Platform
Project Plus’s launch comes at a time when project management is rapidly evolving with advancing data strategies.
The platform aims to support such strategies by monitoring time tracking, budgeting, task completion, and deliverability metrics, transforming them into actionable insights for smarter decision-making.
As Raju Vegesna, Chief Evangelist at Zoho, underscored:
Projects Plus synthesizes the latest AI-driven tools, data-first analytics, and privacy-focused protections into software that anticipates the evolving needs of international enterprise organizations.
In doing so, it comprises the following analytics features:
Predictive Analysis
Predictive analysis forecasts future project outcomes, allowing for proactive project planning and risk management.
Progress Tracking and Bottleneck Analysis
With analytics, project managers can utilize real-time dashboards that provide dynamic and up-to-date insights.
Quality Control Analytics
By analyzing data related to project deliverables, project managers can ensure that each component meets predetermined standards.
