Welcome to our round-up of the top news in the CX space over the last seven days.

Zoom Enters the Contact Center Space

Zoom has officially entered the contact center space by launching an omnichannel CCaaS solution: Zoom Contact Center.

The solution combines unified communications and contact center capabilities into one central hub, supporting collaboration in new remote working environments.

Oded Gal, Chief Product Officer at Zoom, said:

Previously, contact center infrastructure was complex to deploy, expensive to operate, and time-intensive to upgrade. Zoom Contact Center was carefully designed to meet the needs of the modern agent and end customer, both of which expect a personalized, digital, and effective contact center experience.

HubSpot Invests in Aircall

Hubspot Ventures has invested an undisclosed sum in cloud-based contact centre solution vendor Aircall, as part of their ongoing collaboration.

Aircall plans to use the funds to accelerate the development of its voice and phone communications ecosystem.

Olivier Pailhes, Co-founder and CEO, Aircall, said:

“At Aircall, we’ve been working to build a customer-obsessed culture. We’re looking forward to continuing a strong relationship with HubSpot, as we both create tools and services that are used and loved every day by thousands of customers. Integrating our products through a strong and open ecosystem paves the way for the future of voice.”

CloudShare Integrates with Salesforce

CloudShare has integrated with Salesforce to bring its solution to a broader audience.

The solution offers users the building blocks to quickly create virtual training courses, sales demos, and proof of concepts (POC).

Salesforce users may design and harness such solutions to enhance employee performance, engage in better conversations with prospects, and improve sales conversions.
