Local Measure, a customer experience software company, and AWS Partner announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Retail Competency status.

The competency recognizes AWS Partners that provide innovative technology offerings to accelerate the modernization and innovation journey of retailers across all areas in the enterprise. These include Customer Engagement, Corporate Merchandising and Planning, Supply Chain and Distribution, Physical, Digital, and Virtual Store, Advanced Retail Data Science, Core Retail Business Applications, and Consulting Practices for Retail on AWS.

AWS Retail Competency Partners undergo rigorous validation by AWS to ensure alignment to AWS best practices for building the secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure for retail applications – to give customers increased confidence when making decisions.

Jonathan Barouch, CEO and Founder of Local Measure, said: “Local Measure is proud to achieve AWS Retail Competency status.

“It is a testament to our entire team’s hard work and commitment in enabling businesses to deliver the best possible customer experience via their contact center.”

AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify AWS Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.

Local Measure supports several retail businesses through the delivery of ongoing innovation and omnichannel retail experiences via their award-winning contact center platform, Engage.

Customers are now able to contact businesses on a channel of their preference at their chosen time with agents in a contact center, a retail store, or at home. This flexibility ensures both customer and agent experiences are seamless.

One of Local Measure’s customers, quality furniture retailer Coco Republic harnessed Engage for Amazon Connect to deliver exceptional customer experiences at scale.

Richard Hay, IT Operations Manager, Coco Republic, said: “Our legacy systems were clunky, based on site, and were our single point of failure. With Amazon Connect and Local Measure, we feel empowered and confident that we can securely scale and innovate.”
