Liaison International’s Centralized Application Service (CAS) college admissions offering is being integrated with higher education CRM platform Slate from Technolutions.

The Slate solution is a CRM designed for higher education bodies, and is used in enrolment, student success and advancement capacities. The product includes outreach and communications, travel management, application, student success and alumni management features.

Liaison, meanwhile, said its solution is utilised by admissions and enrolment managers at over 1,000 college and university campuses, and is used to expand applicant pools and improve prospective student flow.

“Against a backdrop of historic enrollment challenges, we’re seeing increased demand for platform-agnostic technologies that can help institutional leaders serve students more seamlessly during the admissions process,” said George Haddad, CEO and Founder of Liaison. “With this Slate integration, we gain another powerful collaborator on our mission to empower higher education leaders and administrators to advance their goals and outcomes.

The integration means organisations using slate can automate the importation of CAS applicant data into the CRM, smoothing the process of identifying prospective students.

“For years, CAS users have been able to combine this application with Slate, and now it’s an improved and seamless process,” said Technolutions CEO and founder, Alexander Clark.  “This automated integration between Slate and CAS further empowers leaders in admissions and enrollment management to work more efficiently.”

Holistic Higher Education CRM

The move builds on a number of customer experience integrations signed by the Slate CRM, including with education data company EAB. Another partnership was signed with PeopleGrove, a provider of virtual communities.

“Our partners work tirelessly to engage their communities through PeopleGrove. It is important to connect that activity to outcomes. This partnership with Slate allows us to integrate our platform in a way that helps our partners directly show the impact engagement has on their goals,” said Adam Saven, CEO and Co-Founder of PeopleGrove. “We are reaffirming our commitment to serving partners’ needs throughout the student journey. Our partners have the ability to integrate their platforms with great tools like Slate, all while providing their community with one, single destination.”
