Customer education platform Thought Industries has announced the launch of a new package designed to help teams more quickly launch learning programmes.

Thought Industries’ platform is used to centralise learning activities into a single location, with features such as gamification and certification functionality. Its customers include the likes of Amplitude, ZoomInfo and Medallia.

Accelerator features pre-configured templates, native integrations and design resources intended to simplify the process of set up, with best practice advice for using data to tie content to business objectives.

“Customer learning program ambitions shouldn’t be constrained by team size, expertise or cost. Too often we see teams that recognise the value of customer learning, but they can’t get past the first steps for establishing a program that delivers measurable impact,” said Barry Kelly, CEO of Thought Industries.

“The Accelerator package makes scalable software-based learning programs accessible to teams of all sizes, eliminating common barriers so teams can hit the ground running with programs that reduce customer churn and help drive revenue.”

Components of the Accelerator package include:

  • A data reporting hub with custom dashboard creation
  • Salesforce-managed package integration for customer performance understanding
  • APIs for connecting to platforms and web apps such as Zoom, GoToWebinar, Credly and Zapier

Last month, the company launched the Customer Learning Cloud, which includes features for content authoring, embedded learning and curated insights via third-party integrations.

“We have a clear vision to enable learning everywhere, so people can learn at the right moment and right place in context — whether in front of a computer, in a car, or in a bulldozer,” said Todd Boes, chief product officer, Thought Industries

“Looking ahead, the next major frontier will be opening up our architecture to expand the ecosystem for customer learning, and to empower customers to fully customise and extend our platform to meet their unique business needs”
