Vonage has added new video capabilities and integrations to its conversational commerce application Jumper.ai to offer a more engaging retail experience.
Yash Kotak, Senior Director, Product Management at Vonage and Founder of Jumper.ai, said: “The video capabilities added to Jumper.ai, Vonage’s Conversational Commerce application, will enhance interactions between brands and consumers across the full spectrum of customer engagement points.”
“Vonage continues to innovate to meet customers’ evolving needs, with embedded commerce capabilities to drive more engaging, personalized experiences from anywhere, on any channel.”
The new app enhancement lets brands invite customers to a live video interaction with an in-store associate or customer service agent and engage in a more personal conversation.
By using Vonage Video Express, agents can initiate a face-to-face video while messaging with the customer.
Jumper.ai offers omnichannel, messaging-first customer engagement and shopping journeys solutions across social, messaging, and web (WhatsApp, Messenger, Apple Business Chat, Instagram, Twitter, SMS, and more). Some of the global brands that are using the Jumper.ai platform to connect with customers include L’Oréal and Burger King. Vonage acquired Jumper.ai in October 2021 to complement its robust portfolio of APIs.
Back in November last year, networking and telecommunications company Ericsson entered into a $6.2 billion agreement to acquire Vonage to combine Vonage’s CPaaS offering with its global leadership in 5G technology.
