Collaboration intelligence company Vyopta has announced new search functionality for its collaboration performance management suite. 

Vyopta provides monitoring and analytics capabilities for performance management purposes. It integrates insights from communications and collaborations vendors and IoT devices to optimise the user experience. 

The new functionality provides a unified user interface allowing helpdesk teams to more quickly detect and remediate issues independently. 

Vyopta framed the announcement as a response to the growth of collaboration need following the boom in remote and hybrid working due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with IT teams required to orchestrate multiple technologies for the best digital experience. Inevitably, that requires troubleshooting and resolving issues. 

“This is part of our commitment to continually improve IT and MSP users’ capabilities to deliver the best digital experience consistently to users of UC and collaboration technology,” said Craig Miller, Vyopta’s UX Product Manager. “Both the saved search and search history functions were designed to help companies resolve support tickets much faster and to standardise best practices across team members.” 

The new features enable helpdesk workers to: 

  • View a recent history of their searches within monitoring and analytics datasets 
  • Bookmark commonly used searches 
  • Access a library of saved searches for faster data retrieval 
  • Clone, reuse and move panels within dashboards 

“Our enterprise customers and managed service providers (MSPs) who work with large data volumes and multiple organisations will be much more productive immediately,” said Alfredo Ramirez, CEO and co-founder of Vyopta. “We pay close attention to customer feedback to ensure that Vyopta is best-in-class in helping to simplify their jobs and reach their goals.” 

The news comes on the back of advanced experience monitoring features released in late June, helping users identify common collaboration issues.
