Global business processing outsourcer Techno Brain has chosen TCN as its call centre provider to service a new UK customer.
Based in Nairobi, Techno Brain provides a range of digital services to customers in 15 countries and needed a fast deployment to cater for the new client.
TCN itself had only set up its own UK office in May.
Rajesh Nair, Deputy Director of the BPO unit at Techno Brain, said: “We were looking for a contact centre software provider and headed straight to TCN on the back of what we had heard about the company and its service.
“They understood our requirements and the speed at which we wanted to work, and they achieved it in an incredible timeframe.
“The service and support we have received has been phenomenal. Nothing is too much trouble, and we know that we can continue to tailor the product to best suit our needs as we rapidly expand. We look forward to additional training and the weekly calls.”
Techno Brain BPO is part of the wider Techno Brain group that provides a range of IT services. Its vendor partners include Microsoft and Oracle, and it specialises in the public sector and financial services.
It claims to be the second fastest-growing IT organisation in Africa, with 1,200 employees.
Meanwhile, TCN provides customer experience solutions through technology including call centre platforms, omnichannel communication, workforce engagement and analytics.
TCN was founded in the US in 1999 before expanding into Canada, and then into India via its ClearTouch subsidiary.
The firm opened its UK office in Shrewsbury last month but has had a datacentre in London for several years and has dramatically increased the size of it UK team over the past 12 months. It also has an office in Romania which provides services to UK clients outside of conventional hours.
TCN’s UK head Spencer Taylor said: “The challenge we were set, was whether we could implement the software fast enough for the client in conjunction with them securing a new client here in the UK.
“Essentially, this meant following the demonstration, we were able to set-up and implement our TCN Operator system on the same day.
“Techno Brain signed a contract, successfully completed their trial period, and then moved into the rolling monthly contract.”
