Rochester, New York-based Jorsek, a knowledge management leader via its easyDITA platform, has announced a series of enhancements to its SaaS offering.

Content management system easyDITA is intended for the creation, deployment and management of knowledge, product, and reference content for companies, targeted both internally and externally.

One new feature is integration with open-source website framework Docusaurus, originally developed by Facebook. The integration allows users seeking a static site to integrate with Docusaurus’s generator, allowing for rapid deployment of documentation.

Improving the Knowledge Experience

“Jorsek’s mission is to help clients transform their knowledge assets into world class digital experiences for their customers,” said Patrick Bosek, CEO and Co-Founder of Jorsek. “This release further enhances the ability to quickly and easily create, update, and deploy simple web content that is highly relevant, aligned with audience expectations, and truly a reflection of client reputation.”

The release also includes Schematron support, an automated information validation solution that checks structural rules to ensure guidelines are being adhered to, prompting writers with notification if their content quality deviates. Schematron plugs in to easyDITA’s XML authoring engine to support the delivery of a high level of customer experience.

The announcement comes alongside news that Flow Capital has invested $2mn in the company.

“Jorsek has been at the forefront of the technical documentation market for some time,” said Alex Baluta, Chief Executive Officer of Flow Capital. “The Company has done a fantastic job of designing a platform that allows customers and employees to create and exchange content efficiently. They have nailed down their value proposition and have signed many major companies to the platform. Flow Capital’s investment will help Jorsek aggressively ramp its sales effort to capitalize on the market opportunity they are pursuing. We are excited to partner with Jorsek in its mission and to help accelerate its expansion with flexible, founder-friendly growth capital.”
