Salesforce has shared a sneak peek of its Winter ’23 release with hundreds of updates that cross its broad portfolio and cater to various sectors.

Many of these updates focus on automation and the scaling of complex business processes, while personalization is another central theme.

Some exciting additions include Slack enhancements, a TikTok integration for its Commerce Cloud, and Student Appointment Booking Upgrades.

Yet, there are many more. A particularly fascinating example is its Dynamic Forms enhancements – which will enable users to migrate fields and sections as individual components, allowing for more flexibility in page layouts.

Further, users can configure these components like all others on the page, allowing them to display only the fields and sections they need.

Another feature is Broadcast Communication for Service Cloud, which allows users to alert and update external and internal stakeholders when an incident occurs. This feature offers broadcasting status updates across various digital channels.

Another exciting eye-catching feature is External Actions – an option that allows marketers to integrate third-party applications into the Marketing Cloud Engagement Studio. For example, users can integrate the Zoom Extension and manage webinar registrants and send SMS messages within the Engagement Studio.

Built on Salesforce Invocable Actions, External Actions are fully customisable and offer no-code, low-code, and full-code options to users.

Each of these new features (and more) will become generally available on October 17.

Meanwhile, Salesforce has recently launched a lite version of its CRM platform – Salesforce Easy – to enable businesses of all sizes to unify service, sales, and marketing teams.
