What has been your business/work highlight of 2024 so far?

We devote 2/3 of our time and resources to in-depth knowledge of our customers and prospects. Bringing this knowledge to our ecosystem so we can all be aligned to work in a more customer-centric way.

Who is your business hero and why?

Everyone is a hero in their own way, because we all play an active part in creating this culture.

What’s the biggest business mistake you’ve made and what did you learn from it?

My biggest mistake was running because I was in a hurry. I’ve since learned that because I’m in a hurry I have to walk slowly and make sure that every step we take is well taken and doesn’t require a step back. This doesn’t mean that we don’t fail, but we mitigate risks more effectively, and our mistakes are a source of learning and progress.

What’s the most inspirational book you’ve ever read and why?

My inspiration this year comes from mixing two great books: Mastering uncertainty by Matt Watkinson and Csaba Konkoly, which I read last year, and Thinking fast and slow by Daniel Kahneman, which I reread earlier this year. For me, it’s the winning combination for managing a company and its ecosystem.
On a personal level, Robin Sharma’s The 5am Club is one of many books that has a daily impact on my life. It allows me to maintain a long-awaited well-being.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role in 2024?

My biggest challenge in 2024 is scaling. We are at this turning point which is at the same time scary and exciting.

What technology will have the greatest impact on your business this year and why?

Artificial intelligence and machine learning as for many businesses will have the greatest impact. The challenge is to use them efficiently where they add value for both the customer and the organisation.
