IT service provider Ishan Technologies has become the latest entrant in the crowded CCaaS market.

Its solution, named CXConnect, is powered by the Oracle Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC).

Ishan Technologies hopes to differentiate with “high-quality voice communications”, delivered through “superior” network security.

Indeed, it already offers a comprehensive range of digital infrastructure and network services to support this.

Additionally, Ishan Technologies offers cloud services and system integration expertise that may bolster its CCaaS aspirations.

Yet, perhaps most beneficial will be its close Oracle partnership, with the already-established Oracle E-SBC helping deliver voice capabilities across India, Ishan Technologies’ target market.

“India is rapidly emerging as a hub for CCaaS solutions, driven by growing demand for enhanced customer engagement,” said Pinkesh Kotecha, Chairman & Managing Director of Ishan Technologies, when celebrating the company’s CCaaS entrance.

“Ishan CXConnect powered by Oracle’s E-SBC will help allow businesses to reduce overhead costs, streamline operations, and focus on their core competencies with better communications protection against cyber threats.

This platform is a 360-degree solution that delivers streamlined, secure, and future-ready communications for our customers.

Moreover, Ishan Technologies promises to assist contact centers with white-glove support, citing its dedicated Professional Services teams as another differentiator.

That’s alongside uptime and resiliency, again enabled by the Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC), a solution designed to secure and manage real-time communications across IP network borders.

The E-SBC is particularly useful for enterprises looking to secure their SIP trunks, UCaaS, CCaaS, and other SIP services.

Celebrating the E-SBC’s role within the platform, Payam Sharifi, SVP of Worldwide Sales Oracle Communications, said: “The combination of the robust network security and voice capabilities in Oracle’s E-SBC, paired with Ishan’s expertise in cloud and contact center management creates a powerful solution for enterprises.

Together, we will help evolving businesses optimize their customer interactions while maintaining the highest standards of security and performance.

With this announcement, Ishan Technologies joins a long list of CCaaS providers, as the market becomes increasingly saturated.

Indeed, with stalwarts from NICE, Genesys, and Five9 to disruptors like Microsoft, Sprinklr, and Zoom, the space is heating up.

While some may flourish in this competitive market, others will likely struggle.

Speaking to CX Today, Zeus Kerravala, Principal Analyst at ZK Research, recently explained: “Demand simply doesn’t match the supply, and I expect more companies to face financial challenges as a result.

There’s too much competition, and some companies will struggle to survive.

Ultimately, as the market matures expect the CCaaS space to emulate the legacy on-premise contact center market.

A few major providers will rule the roost, while a cluster of smaller companies will also find success by specializing in a particular region or vertical.

In India, Ishan Technologies may be one of those that finds success.
