Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, announced yesterday that it has been ranked the number one CRM provider for the eighth consecutive year, by International Data Corporation (IDC) in its latest Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker.

Salesforce stands out from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) market by growing its overall market share position and increased revenue. The IDC data reveals that Salesforces continues to be the market share leader in IDC’s segments, namely sales applications, customer service applications, marketing applications, model-driven application platforms, and enterprise community applications.

Besides being the number one CRM provider worldwide, Salesforce is also the number one market share leader for CRM in North America, Western Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific (including Japan).
