Secure contact centre payments processing provider, PCI Pal, recently announced that it has been chosen by leading communications company, Avaya, for membership as a Technology provider in the Avaya DevConnect program. As a certified DevConnect Technology Partner, PCI Pal will be able to deliver proven interoperability opportunities with all of its solutions within the Avaya Contact centre.

The new partnership means that customers of Avaya’s world-leading contact centre solutions will be able to benefit from integrating PCI-compliant security for telephone payments within existing Avaya systems. It’s an exciting step forward for the PCI Pal team.

A Thrilling New Step for PCI Pal

Avaya is currently one of the market leaders in communication solutions designed to enhance and simplify communication and collaboration. The CRO of PCI Pal, Darren Gill, said that the company is thrilled to be joining the DevConnect program hosted by Avaya, as a company keen to support many customers who are looking to implement payment card security solutions into their desktop applications and call flows in the Avaya contact centre. Becoming a member of the Avaya developer community will help PCI Pal to deliver a more extensive service to customers that already use Avaya’s communication solutions.

As a member of Avaya’s DevConnect Program, PCI Pal will now be better placed to help joint customers of the two brands expand and enhance their contact centre solutions.

Expanding the DevConnect Program

The DevConnect program from Avaya aims to promote the compliance-testing, development, and co-marketing of third-party solutions that can work with Avaya solutions. Member groups have expertise in everything from management and analytics, to collaboration, reporting, and more. Avaya’s DevConnect partners are helping companies to accelerate the way that they deliver value to their end customers and their bottom line.

Currently, the DevConnect program includes thousands of hardware and software developer companies, customers, integrators, and service providers. Through this program, Avaya offers companies a wide range of technical education solutions, and support for the Avaya platforms and interfaces. Tech partners can also access ongoing benefits in the form of joint compliance testing and co-marketing support. DevConnect partners need to excel during periods of vigorous testing to be accepted into the program.

Other companies in the Avaya DevConnect program have used the system to create and share a wide array of innovative solutions for the Avaya landscape, including emergency notification services, speech recognition applications, and reporting features too.
