Experts in the world of customer experience (CX), Serenova recently announced the expansion of their team. The company, which specialises in workforce optimisation and contact centre as a service solutions, has appointed two new experts to their executive team. David Nelson will be joining as Chief Financial Officer, while Michelle Burrows comes to the fold as Chief Marketing Officer. The two new hires should play significant roles in Serenova’s quest for better market expansion within the CX sphere.
The recent additions are intended to complete the Serenova leadership team, which includes COO Julian Critchfield, CTO Pascal Vincent, CPO Matt Despain, VP of People, Meg Marsh, and CEO John Lynch, who previously acted as Executive VP of Sales.
Welcoming Michelle Burrows as CMO
In her new position, Burrows will be responsible for leading the global marketing strategies for Serenova, including brand development, demand generation, and communications. She will be providing strategic direction for the business and working closely with sales, executive, and product teams to give Serenova a greater impact on the contact centre market.
With plenty of experience in positions involving leadership and marketing, Burrows should be a perfect fit for the role. Before joining Serenova, she acted as the Vice President for analytics and marketing at Comcast, where she was also responsible for leading the customer loyalty contact centre. Before Comcast, Burrows worked as the Vice President of Demand Marketing for the Nice InContact brand and has also held leadership positions with Genesys, and Verint systems.
According to John Lynch, the CEO for Serenova, Michelle’s extensive experience will bring significant value to the Serenova team as it continues to expand and grow in the contact centre market.
Introducing David Nelson as CFO
As the Chief Financial Officer for Serenova, Nelson will responsible for tracking and enhancing the rapid growth of the company as it continues to introduce new contact centre solutions to the market. Nelson has a powerful record for scaling companies and improving profitability with companies in the communications sector, and in his role, he will be responsible for managing operations, investor relations, and corporate finance.
Nelson comes to Serenova with more than 3 decades of experience in financial management under his belt. Recently, he acted as CFO for Periscope Holdings – an SaaS provider for SMBs. Before this, Nelson worked as CFO for an e-banking company called “Q2” – another SaaS provider for online and mobile banking software. Nelson has also held positions with Salion, Trillion Partners, Hired.com, and more.
The New Serenova Team
Both Nelson and Burrows should make important additions to the Serenova team, along with the recently promoted John Lynch, who is well-prepared to act as CEO for the brand. Before his time with Serenova, Lynch was the Senior Vice President for global sales at Vendavo – a leader in price optimisation software. Lynch has also acted as Vice President of Sales for a company building routing software for call centres known as “Mattersight Corporation”.
With this new team of executive experts, Serenova hopes to continue expanding their growth within the contact centre space and improve their access to a range of new markets.
