Customer lifecycle management solutions provider Evergent’s software is designed to enable businesses to track and collect payments from subscribers, while distributing royalties to partners, in digital media industries such as advertising, video, gaming, applications, and music.

Evergent’s Customer Care and Billing (CCB) 3.0 platform offers a suit of management tools, allowing uses to test different monetisation strategies such as subscription and advertising-supported video-on-demand, with the likes of AT&T, HBO and Sony Pictures Entertainment counted among its customers.

Evergent’s mission is to make it easier for our customers to maintain and grow relationships, streamline monetisation processes, and reduce time to market for products and services,” said Vijay Sajja, founder and CEO of Evergent. “CCB 3.0 represents a significant step forward in customer relationship management by taking the guesswork out of monetisation and empowering each customer to create a solution tailored to their business needs. When we look at how the video marketplace continues to grow and evolve, agility and flexibility will be key to meeting and exceeding business goals.”

Supporting Media and Entertainment CX

It has now announced its support for the AWS for Media & Entertainment initiative, which aligns a number of AWS capabilities and partners to help customers in five areas, including content production, media supply chain, broadcasting, direct-to-consumer streaming, and analytics.

“The growth of the cloud changed how movies are made, how live news and sports are produced and distributed, and how we watch video today,” said Matt Garman, Senior Vice President, AWS Sales & Marketing. “And yet, we are still in the early stages of cloud transformation for media and entertainment. Customers continue to accelerate reinvention in areas like media supply chain, live streaming, and broadcasting. With Amazon Nimble Studio, creative studios can run low-latency virtual workstations and rendering to produce content faster and collaborate remotely without worrying about underlying infrastructure. And, with the launch of AWS for Media & Entertainment, customers can accelerate this transformation with a greater focus on solutions for their highest priority workloads.”

Evergent already partners with AWS to offer solutions that can be flexibly launched within a matter of weeks – with agility being vital for those competing in the saturated video marketplace.

“Our mission at Evergent is to enable our customers to more effectively manage their relationships and improve their monetization processes through a pre-integrated platform tailored to each customer’s business needs,” said Vijay Sajja. “Our collaboration with AWS aligns perfectly with this mission by connecting our customers not only with Evergent’s agile monetisation solutions, but with the full portfolio of products and solutions available through the AWS for Media & Entertainment initiative. For media companies focused on launching and rapidly growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) services, time to market is critical. Working with AWS helps us enable flexible and agile monetisation in weeks, not months.”
