Business messaging provider MessageMedia has announced the launch of SMS for HubSpot, an integration with the CRM platform which has also resulted in it joining HubSpot’s App Partner Program as certified app integration partner. 

The integration allows teams to obtain a single view of customers across all channels from within the HubSpot CRM platform, adding SMS reminders, confirmations and promotions to boost communications and marketing strategies.

An Omnichannel Approach 

According to research from Oracle, SMSs are much more likely to be read than email, with 90% read within 90 seconds.

A case study of the solution’s potential was ecommerce retailer Vinomofo, who relied on SMS for HubSpot to win back customers who had stopped purchasing for up to one year. Instead of solely relying on emails, the company used SMS for HubSpot to automatically segment its customer base via last purchase dates, before sending SMSs for increased cut-through. 

“We chose SMS in addition to email to help reduce churn because it allows us to reach more customers which creates better cut-through and engagement for our campaigns,” said Mariano Favia, Head of Marketing at Vinomofo, a customer of MessageMedia and HubSpot.
