Customer experience automation and CRM firm ActiveCampaign has announced the release of custom objects to trigger customer experience automation.

The ActiveCampaign Customer Experience Automation Platform allows companies to precisely target prospects via personalised messages, build customer loyalty via analytics and leverage automation to predict customer behaviour.

The company’s solution also features a CRM component which utilises email and sales automation to organise customer data, using machine learning, automation, and integrations to personalise the customer experience as well as marketing activities.

“Today’s customer needs are constantly evolving, which means businesses have to be more agile and analytical than ever before to create unique 1:1 experiences for their customers,” said Jason VandeBoom, founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign

“Data flexibility and customisation have been available within the CRM market for years, but I’m thrilled we are taking those capabilities a step further by bringing our automation-first approach to custom objects and making them available to businesses of all sizes.”

The new offering allows companies to use data from across their tech stack to create workflows for automated experiences. That leverages ActiveCampaign’s extensive range of over 870 integrations and over 600 automation recipes.

That enables:

  • Triggered automations from updates and changes to Salesforce Opportunities
  • Updating contacts with details from new tickets in Zendesk Support
  • Creating ‘Events’ custom objects through an integration with Eventbrite

The company recently committed to maximising access in terms of services, features and data via a plan to establish European data centres in the first half of 2022 as well as expand data residency in the APAC region.

“You should be able to respond to any email that a company sends to you,” said Dutta Satadip, Chief Customer Officer at ActiveCampaign. “That’s why we at ActiveCampaign have made this commitment to granting our customers access to our teams, services, platform features and local languages. We’re committed to supporting our customers at every step of their journey, and having full access is a key component to our commitment.”
