Omni-channel customer messaging platform OneSignal has revealed significant growth in 2021 off the back of a range of product updates.
The company operates a platform for omni-channel messaging, allowing companies to send out push notifications, email, SMS and in-app communications.
The company said it had achieved revenue growth of 1,800% over the last three years, gaining over 300,000 new users in 2021 – resulting in a total 1.5 million users on its platform. OneSignal also recently expanded its suite of messaging tools by launching SMS and email capabilities.
“Our integrated solution is a single tool that provides a seamless experience across web and mobile push, in-app messaging, email, and SMS to improve customer engagement and drive conversions,” said George Deglin, co-founder and CEO of OneSignal.
“SMS is a lightweight, highly effective channel that allows companies to communicate key information in a mobile-first way, even with users who don’t have their app. OneSignal takes pride in our ease of use, reliability, and quality of experience for developers, making it easy to deploy a multichannel messaging strategy without extensive development work.”
The company also debuted integrations with platforms including HubSpot (from whom it raised funding in the second quarter), Amplitude, Segment, and Unity – as well as deepening integrations with Mixpanel and RevenueCat.
“Enabling best-of-breed tools to work together seamlessly is core to our mission to enable businesses of all sizes to easily set up, operate, and succeed in a mobile-first world,” said Josh Wetzel, CRO of OneSignal.
OneSignal said it now had over 3,000 companies using its SMS solution, as well as 24,000 using email and 30,000 using in-app messaging.
“OneSignal’s vision is to democratise customer engagement. We provide a powerful platform that’s easy to use for organisations of any size, while flexible enough to meet the needs of the world’s most sophisticated developers and marketers,” said George Deglin.
