With over 20 awards categories to enter, there has never been a better time to submit an application for the CX Awards.

Customer experience is an incredibly diverse sector that encompasses an astonishing breadth of disciplines and topics, so it’s only fair that the awards should reflect this.

With the tech-vendor-specific Innovation Awards alongside People & Transformation Awards that celebrate individual leaders and CX teams – there is something for every CX professional.

What You Need to Know

Everyone’s calendars are messy at this time of year: when can we do some shopping? What time are the annoying cousins coming over? Can try to pop in to see Mr. & Mrs. so-and-so.

Unfortunately, we’ve got a few more dates for you to add, but the good news is they aren’t between Christmas and New Year.

  • 24th of January 2024: This is the final deadline for submissions. No ifs or buts. We cannot accept any applications after this date.
  • 15th of February 2024: Make sure to keep an eye on our socials and website on this day, as we will be announcing our shortlist.
  • 29th of February 2024: Don’t just mark this one in your calendar; sign up ahead of time for our digital ceremony event, where the winners will be revealed, and our community will get the chance to celebrate their achievements.

Application Advice

Now, that’s out of the way, let’s start with some application admin.

All applications are submitted online via the application portal, which can be found here.

Applicants are free to enter as many categories as they wish. However, we do encourage you to carefully consider what you have achieved in the past year and apply for the categories that best suit your accomplishments, as each category will have its own specific criteria.

When it comes to what to include within your application to help you stand out and impress the judges, for Charlie Mitchell – Senior Editor of CX Today – sometimes less is more:

“Avoid common mistakes, like including excessive external links and attachments. Keep your submission concise and steer clear of jargon and sales-speak.”

Another common mistake that has been the downfall of many a promising application, is straying too far from the stated criteria.

Each application, regardless of category, must showcase the following: Ability to Innovate, Ability to Execute, and Ability to Improve Experience.

If you ensure that everything you include within your application can be linked back to these three criteria, you will vastly improve your chances.
